Beaumont Salvation Army Provides Shelter

The Salvation Army in Beaumont has opened their emergency shelter to house Southeast Texans displaced by the storm. The shelter has 147 beds, and last report, there were 110 beds available. The Salvation Army is working the Jefferson County  Office of Emergency Management, the Beaumont Police Department, and the Southeast Texas Food Bank to ensure that the emergency shelter is serving the needs of local residents.
