+Evacuation order for Orange County has been lifted. However, the countywide curfew remains in effect from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am.
+The Orange County landfill, located on FM 1442, is open daily from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Fees during this time are being waived.
+Aerial mosquito controls are underway in Jefferson and Orange counties. Spraying is being carried out by a large military craft.
+In Bridge City, the post office is now open for normal business. The Monday-Friday hours are 8:00 am – 4:15 pm. Citizens are asked to be patient and it will take time for mail to be sorted and distributed.
+In Orange County, all contractors must get a county license to do any work on flood damaged homes in the unincorporated areas of the county. Before hiring a contractor, please ask to their county license. Beware of contractors requiring large payments before any work is completed
