Beaumont police are investigating a shooting. The victim, Travis Mount, told police he
was walking in the parking lot of the Quality Inn in the 1500 block of I-10 south just
past 10:00 last night when he was approached by a man with a gun demanding money.
Mount started to run away when he was shot in the arm. The suspect fled the scene.
