Vidor police have released the name of a woman that was killed in a two vehicle wreck
Saturday. 35-year old Erin Nicole Yates, of Vidor, was driving a car that turned in front
of an oncoming pickup in the 2400 block of Highway 12. She was airlifted to Christus
St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where she later died. A passenger in her car was also
airlifted to the hospital. A child passenger was transported by ambulance.
