By a 6-1 vote, the Beaumont city council has approved a 2% pay increase for city employees.
City Manager Kyle Hayes, City Attorney Tyrone Cooper, City Clerk Tina Broussard, and
City Magistrate Craig Lively are also receiving a pay increase. Ward Two Councilman Mike
Getz was the only council member to vote against a pay increase.
