The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance. Deputies stopped
a Chevy Tahoe that was equipped to look like a police vehicle. It was equipped with two
separate light bars and two sirens and had the appearance of an unmarked police unit. At this
time, the sheriff’s office have no documented complaints of citizens being stopped by this
vehicle. If anyone has any information on the vehicle, you are asked to contact the sheriff’s
