The Hardin County Sheriff’s reports six people, including five children, died in a house fire
just past midnight. The fire was at a residence in the 8700 block of Fountain Drive north of
Silsbee. The Silsbee Fire Department responded to the scene. The cause of the fire has not been
determined.
