Search Warrant Leads To Drug Bust

A search warrant at a home in Port Arthur yesterday led to a narcotics bust. Jefferson County

Sheriff’s Office narcotics officers entered the home in the 3000 block of Thomas Blvd and found

two loaded handguns, a load .22 rifle that was altered to look like an AR15. The resident of the

home, 31-year old Hector Martinez led investigators to a large stash of hydroponic marijuana.

It totaled more than six pound. Martinez is jailed charged with felony possession of marijuana.

Firearms charges are pending. Others who may be involved are under investigation.
