Students are Port Arthur Memorial High School were told to shelter in place this morning after a
report of a possible shooting that would take place on campus. The administration released the
following statement on it’s Facebook page.
Parents:
Please know that students from Memorial 10-12 campus were instructed to Shelter-In-Place for a brief period of time due to an anonymous call of a possible shooting that would take place on the campus.
Students who may have been involved have been apprehended away from the campus and no weapons were found in their possession.Students from Memorial High School grades 10-12 were not ever in any imminent danger.
