A $100,000 bond has been set on an Orange County man accused of striking and killing a woman
and then leaving the scene. 49-year old Kevin McClure, of Orange, was arrested yesterday for
the October 13th death of 71-year old Wanda Spoonmore. She died after she was struck by a
vehicle in the 1700 block of Highway 12 in Vidor. McClure has been charged with failure to
stop and render aid. He faces two to 20 years in prison if he is convicted.
