Two men are jailed in Hardin County following a shooting. An off duty Chambers County
deputy confronted two men that were in a car where they driver was driving erratically on
Cooks Lake Road. During the confrontation, a second person that came to the assistance
of the off-duty deputy was shot in the foot. One of the suspects reportedly has an outstanding
warrant of removal from ICE. The other is believed to be in the United States illegally as well.
