Port Arthur Man Sentenced To 15 Years

A Port Arthur man is heading to prison for 15 years. Travis Chisholm received the sentence

as part of a plea agreement after pleading guilty intoxication manslaughter for the March

2016 death of Kelvin Wayne Valcin. Chisholm was driving the wrong way down Twin City

Highway when he collided head on with Valcin’s vehicle. Chisholm’s blood alcohol content

was .17 at the time of the wreck.
