Drainage District 7 will host three open house meetings in mid and south Jefferson County
this week. To discuss the role that DD7 plays in providing regional drainage needs and the
events of Tropical Storm Harvey. The first open house will be this evening at the Lakeside
Palomar Community Center on Cambridge Street in Port Arthur, tomorrow’s DD7 open house
will be at the Groves Knights of Columbus Hall on Lincoln Avenue, and on Wednesday, the
open house will be at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall on Nederland Avenue. All three DD7
open house meetings will be from 5:30 to 7:30.
