A man is jailed following a shooting and a foot pursuit in Beaumont. Police were called to an
apartment complex in the 2500 block of Primrose yesterday morning to a reported disturbance.
During the foot pursuit the suspect, 28-year old Keshawn Thomas threw a handgun on top of
a business in the 3300 block of Concord. Thomas is charged with aggravated assault. The
victim was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound
