Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated robbery. Two men, dressed in black and their
faces covered, robbed the LeMarket in the 1700 block of Royal Street this morning. One of the
suspects pointed a gun at the clerk demanding money. They left in a gray Chrysler 300. A
witness tried to follow the suspects, but lost them on Avenue E near Washington Blvd. The clerk
was not hurt during the robbery.
