Funeral services have been set for longtime Beaumont police Lt. Ky Brown. Brown passed
away Saturday night at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital after a battle with cancer. A gathering
of Lieutenant Brown’s family and friends will be at Broussard’s on Major Drive from 5:00 to
8:00 this evening. Services for Lt. Ky Brown will be tomorrow morning at the Julie Rogers theater
in Downtown Beaumont. Lt. Brown was 55 years old.
