A Beaumont man on death row will not get a new trial. The U.S. Supreme Court has refused
to review the conviction of 47-year old Bartholomew Granger. He was convicted of capital
murder for the March 2012 shooting death of 79-year old Minnie Seabolt, who was a by-stander
as Granger went on a rampage outside the Jefferson County Courthouse, Granger opened fire on
his daughter outside the courthouse after she testified against him in a sexual assault case
