Beaumont police have released the name of a bicyclist that was struck and killed by a car.
55-year old Tam Trung Ngo, a transient, was riding his bike in the 6200 block of Twin City
Highway just past 4:30 Tuesday morning when he was struck by a car that changed lanes.
Police report there were no lights on the bike and Ngo was not wearing reflective clothing.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
