Earlier this week, police in Nederland responded to a call of a suspicious person in the 3300
block of Tipps Drive. As the officer approached the man he fled on foot. The man was
caught in the 3100 block of Nashville. 28-year old Octavius Jackson was arrested for
evading. He also had an outstanding burglary of habitation warrant and is a suspect in
multiple burglaries throughout Jefferson County.
