Houston Man Sentenced To 30 Years In Federal Prison

A Houston man appeared in a Beaumont federal courtroom yesterday and was sentenced to 30

years in prison for drug trafficking. 33-year old Jaime Cruz Romero was a main supplier of

methamphetamine in the Houston and Beaumont area. Romero dealt directly with Mexican

sources which was confirmed to be with the Knights of Temple Cartel. Romero conspired with

others to distribute at least 62 kilograms of meth, 18 kilograms of cocaine, and 20 pounds of

marijuana.
