Beaumont firefighters worked a fire this morning in the 2300 block of Park, just south of
the downtown area. The fire broke out at a bicycle shop, which was closed at the time. Homes
on each side of the shop were damaged. The American Red Cross is assisting. The cause has
not been determined and there were no injuries.
