The city of Port Arthur and nine industrial and/or refining facilities have made and entered into
Industrial District Agreements. The agreements provide these industries to make payments to the
city starting this year at 80% of the taxable value of the property and increase percent through
the year 2027. The agreement, which started on January 1st, is effective through December 2027.
