A man is jailed facing multiple charges after fleeing from Port Arthur police this morning in a
stolen car. Police were responding to a deadly conduct call in the 2600 block of 9th Street. As
they arrived they heard gunshots. Following a chase, in which two Port Arthur police cars were
damaged, the suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was found in his car. The car he was
in was reported stolen out of Hardin County
