Vidor police report speed was a factor in a one-vehicle wreck yesterday morning that killed a
14-year old girl. A pickup left Wexford Drive and struck a tree ejecting the 14-year old, who
was passenger. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Two 13-year old girls were transported
to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital and were listed in serious condition, with non-life threatening
injuries.
