Gas prices are up. Today’s average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area is $2.31 a gallon,
which is up a nickel from last week. The statewide average is up a nickel to $2.33 a gallon.
The national average for a gallon of gas is up four cents to $2.57. These averages are compiled
daily by Triple A Texas.
