Human remains that were found in a wooded area off of MacArthur Drive in Pinehurst this
past October have been identified. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reports the remain
are that of 22-year old Nathaniel Allen Anderson. Anderson had been reported missing in
early June. Detectives are questioned several persons of interest and continue to investigate
the events surrounding the death of Anderson.
