Gas prices are up. Today’s average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area is $2.34 a gallon,
which is up three cents from last Friday. The statewide average is up three cents as well to
$2.36 a gallon. The national average for a gallon of gas is $2.60, up three cents from last
