Due to a staff turnover, The DPS has temporarily closed the driver’s license office in Port Arthur. To find a
convenient alternative location during this time period, including the Orange and Beaumont
driver license offices, citizens can go to DPS website. The Port Arthur Driver’s License Office
will reopen once a permanent staff is hired and trained. It is estimated that will take two to
three months.
