Two Jailed After Fleeing From Narcotic Officers

Two Beaumont men are jailed after fleeing from Jefferson County narcotic officers yesterday.

The officers attempted to make a traffic stop on 4th Street in Beaumont when the car sped off.

The chase ended when the fleeing vehicle struck at car at I-10 and Walden Road. The two

suspects fled from the vehicle. 21 year old Kamryn Broussard ran and was arrested as he

tried to force his way into a vehicle. 24-year old Micah Hannah fled towards the woods

He threw a 9mm handgun as he was fleeing. Another 9mm handgun was found in the

suspect’s car. Two women in the car that was struck were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A deputy  was taken to the hospital with a leg injury. Both Broussard and Hannah are facing

multiple charges.
