A Nederland woman faces up to two years in jail after being convicted for possession of a
controlled substance. This past August, 23-year old Rudy Mojica was stopped by Groves
police for a traffic violation. A search of Mojica’s car revealed methamphetamine in her
car. She was convicted yesterday by a Jefferson County jury. She faces 180 days to two years.
Mojica will be sentenced next month.
