One Million Gallons Of Sewage Spills In Port Arthur

KLVI News

An estimated one million gallons of sewage spilled into the streets of Port Arthur over a four

day period. A 3-foot ruptured water line caused the spill from Friday February 9th to Monday

February 12th. The affected area was near the main lift station in the 5400 block of Proctor.

The cause is being blamed on a structural failure due to decaying in the pipe.
