The DPS has released the name of a man that was killed in a one-vehicle wreck on I-10 in
Orange County Saturday afternoon. 50-year old Daniel Martinez, of Spring, was westbound,
near the 856 mile marker, when he struck the inside concrete wall, traveled back across the
westbound lanes and struck the outside wall. He was ejected from his vehicle. Martinez
was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital where he later died.
