The city of Beaumont says the historic Jefferson Theater will be closing for renovations for this summer. The theater was renovated in 2003 but now needs repairs to the roof, ceiling, plaster, lobby, and dressing rooms. The Jefferson will be closed from June 2018 through possibly as late as October 2018. The Bobby Bones Red Hoodie Comedy Tour will be the final major show at the theater on May 11 before the theater closes temporarily.
