(Houston, TX) -- Former Texas Congressman Steve Stockman, who at one time represented Jefferson County, is facing time in prison for fraud. A federal jury convicted the Friendswood Republican on 23 of 24 counts today following over 15 hours of deliberations. Stockman was arrested last year on claims he created a fake nonprofit and used the cash for personal expenses. Stockman had two tenures in Congress from 1995 to 1997 and from 2013 to 2015.
