The Texas General Land Office has released the results from Saturday’s 32nd annual Spring
Adopt-A-Beach Cleanup. Nearly 5,000 volunteers showed up at 25 locations along the Texas
Gulf coast to remove nearly 80,000 pounds of trash from the coastline. Since 1986, more than
523,000 volunteers have cleaned more than 9,500 tons of trash from Texas beaches.
