A man has pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. Kendrick
McCloney entered the plea yesterday for the January 2016 death of Kendrick Meadows.
Meadows was changing a tire on his wife’s car on I-10, near Laurel Street in Beaumont
when he was struck and killed by a vehicle driven by McCloney. The punishment phase
of the trial begins this morning in Beaumont.
