A routine traffic stop in Beaumont Tuesday afternoon end with a man going to jail of drug
charges. Officers of the department’s interdiction team stopped a pickup on I-10 near
Walden Road. Inside the pickup, officer found more than 50 kilos of suspected cocaine.
27-year old Carlos Cabrerro was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facilty
and charged with possession of a controlled substance, more than 200 grams.
