The DPS reports a Louisiana woman that was killed in a motorcycle accident in Hardin earlier this
month was a passenger on the motorcycle, not the driver as originally reported by the DPS. 30-year
old Bobbie Leigh Jackson, of Deridder, died when the motorcycle left Highway 96 about three miles
south of Silsbee on May 14th. The driver of the motorcycle was a 52-year old woman, also from
Louisiana.
