A man that eluded Jefferson County deputies Wednesday is jailed. A citizen notified the
sheriff’s office yesterday afternoon that they say the suspect in a wooded area near the
Town and Country Store on Highway 365, near Labelle Road. With the assistance of the
Port Neches Police Department’s K-9 Unit, 35-year old James Westbrook of Atlanta Georgia,
was taken into custody. He is charged with evading and felony evading arrest in a motor
vehicle.
