The DPS reports a 72-year old Vidor woman has died from injuries she sustained in a two-
vehicle wreck. Vivian Townsend Markle was traveling south on FM 105, near Mansfield
Road, when a northbound vehicle crossed into her lane on a curve striking her vehicle.
Markle was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where she died.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, 36-year old Blake Travis Bowen, of Vidor, is
hospitalized with unknown injuries.
