Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrests

A traffic stop on I-10 east in Jefferson County yesterday morning resulted with two being

arrested on drug charges. Deputies pulled an Idaho licensed plate vehicle near the 845 mile

marker on numerous traffic violations. After being denied consent to search the vehicle, a

K-9 from the Port Neches Police Department was called to the scene. 16 gallons of liquid

methamphetamine was found hidden in an altered fuel tank. Ronald Bradford and Paula Bear,

both of Houston, were transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and charged

with possession of a controlled substance
