A Groves man, that pleaded guilty to continuous sexual abuse of a child, has been sentenced to
35 years in prison. The is the sentence Judge John Stevens assessed to 35-year old Brandon
Devillier. In August of 2012, a 12-year old told a friend she needed help because she had been
molested for several years. She said she was scared to tell anyone. The friend encouraged her
to tell the police or an adult. A DNA test led authorities to Deviillier. Devillier is not eligible
for parole. He will have to serve the entire 35 year sentence.
