Beaumont police arrested two men that were in a stolen vehicle. Following a brief chase, the

driver 22-year old Kendrick Malbrough fled on foot and was found hiding under stairs at a

residence at San Jacinto and Rockwall. The passenger, 19-year old Jaquavian Mayberry stayed

in the vehicle. Two handguns were recovered in the car. Malbrough is facing multiple charges

that include possession of a firearm by a felon, evading, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Mayberry is charged with fail to ID, and possession of a controlled substance. Malbrough is also
