A recall election will take place for Groves City Councilman Cross Coburn. Over 900 signatures
were on a petition asking for the recall election. The petition was circulated after Coburn’s
nude photos were leaked out from a gay dating site. This was the second petition that was
circulated across the city of Groves. The first one was invalid. If Coburn doesn’t resign from
the city council, a recall election will take place in November.
