A Beaumont teen is jailed after he was in a stolen vehicle and then fled from police. Police
stopped the stolen car yesterday near Tolivar & Kathy. The driver, 18-year old Dontrell
Tyrese Jones, fled on foot and was quickly apprehended. He is charged with unauthorized
use of a motor vehicle and evading. Four juveniles that were in the car with him were turned
over to the custody of their parents.
