By a 3-2 vote, the Groves city council has voted in favor of a recall election for councilman
Cross Coburn. The recall was put together after inappropriate photos of Coburn appeared on
a dating site. The city collected enough names on a petition calling for the recall. The election
will be in November. Coburn and councilwoman Karen Theis were the two that voted against
the recall election.
