A $1 million bond has been set on one of two teens charged with Tuesday’s shooting death of
23-year old Olajuwon Vaughns in Beaumont. 18-year old Matthew Clevenger was arrested
yesterday afternoon in Lufkin. He is jailed in Jefferson County. A second suspect, a 16-year
old was arrested in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was driving the car witnesses described leaving
the scene of the homicide. The 16-year old is in the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center
in Jefferson County.
