A 22-year old Silsbee man has been sentenced to three 45 year sentences for an April 2016 home
invasion robbery in Kountze. Damien McNeil and three others were involved in breaking into
the living quarters of three convenient store clerks, beating and robbing them while holding them
at gunpoint. The attacks were caught on video. McNeil must serve at least half of his sentence
before he becomes eligible for parole.
