Wiggins Appointed Constable

By a 3-2 vote, Jefferson County commissioners have appointed Charlie Wiggins as Precinct

One Constable. Wiggins will fill the unexpired term of Earl White, who resigned from the

position to become the new fire chief in Beaumont. There are two years remaining on the

term. White will begin serving as fire chief on August 6th. He replaces Anne Huff, who

retired.
