A man that was stabbed Friday in Port Arthur has died. 31-year old Roderick Wiltz was involved
in altercation with another man in the 3700 block of Gulfway Drive when he was stabbed in the
chest. Wiltz died yesterday at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. The suspect, 54-year
old Leroy Gipson, is jailed on a charge of aggravated assault. Those charges could be upgraded
following the death of Wiltz.
